Policy

At SWYFT, we understand that plans can change, and sometimes you may need to cancel a ride. This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for canceling a ride and any associated fees.

1. Cancellation by Passengers

Before Driver Acceptance: If you cancel your ride request before the driver has accepted it, you will not be charged any cancellation fee.

After Driver Acceptance but Before Arrival: If you cancel your ride after the driver has accepted your request but before the driver arrives at the pick-up location, a cancellation fee of 10% may apply. After Driver Arrival: If you cancel the ride after the driver has arrived at the pick-up location, a higher cancellation fee of 10% may apply. The exact fee will be displayed at the time of cancellation.

No-Show: If you fail to show up at the pick-up location within 5 minutes of the driver’s arrival without canceling the ride, you will be charged a no-show fee equivalent to the minimum fare for the ride.

2. Cancellation by Drivers

Driver-Initiated Cancellations: If a driver cancels your ride for any reason, you will not be charged any fees. If you were charged in advance, the full amount will be refunded to your original payment method.

Repeated Cancellations: If a driver cancels rides frequently, please report this behavior to SWYFT customer support. We aim to ensure a reliable and consistent service for all passengers.

3. Refunds

Refund Eligibility: Refunds for canceled rides will be processed according to the terms outlined in our Return/Refund Policy.

Refund Processing Time: Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days and will be credited to the original payment method.

4. How to Cancel a Ride

Using the App: To cancel a ride, open the SWYFT app, navigate to your current ride, and select the cancellation option. Follow the prompts to confirm the cancellation.

Contacting Customer Support: If you are unable to cancel the ride through the app, you can contact SWYFT customer support for assistance.

5. Changes to the Policy

SWYFT reserves the right to modify this Cancellation Policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated through the app and will take effect immediately upon posting.
